Centra Credit Union Converts Signature/PIN Debit Accounts To PSCU Financial Services
Credit Union Evaluated 10 Providers During Selection Process
St. Petersburg, FL, October 24, 2007 – Centra Credit Union of Columbus, Indiana, converted its 60,000 signature/PIN debit accounts and responsibility for driving 35 ATMs to PSCU Financial Services, the cooperative announced today. The credit union has $720 million in assets and more than 116,000 members.
The credit union looked at 10 providers as part of an extensive evaluation process. “When we contacted references, each credit union had given PSCU Financial Service high marks for both servicing and the conversion process,” said Norb Adrian, the credit union’s Vice President of Information Technology. “We’ve been a member of PSCU Financial Services since 1995, working with the cooperative to issue and grow our credit card program and we have been extremely pleased with the high level of service we receive. We are happy to report that our debit conversion was also extremely smooth.”
Another deciding factor in the choice of a debit processing vendor was fraud protection. “We felt PSCU Financial Services provided exceptional tools and expertise in fraud detection and prevention and we wanted to offer this technology to our debit cardholders as well as our credit cardholders,” Adrian said.
“We pride ourselves in our commitment to delivering not just exceptional products but also exceptional service. We are pleased that so many credit unions appreciate our dedication to excellence and recommend our services to other institutions,” said David J. Serlo, President and CEO, PSCU Financial Services.
PSCU Financial Services provides signature, PIN and ATM debit servicing for more than 225 credit unions, representing 6.8 million accounts.
