Citadel Federal Credit Union Converts to PSCU Financial Services for Online Bill Payment

PayLynxSM Offers Exceptional Convenience with Subscriber-Controlled Payment Date, Next Day Payments

St. Petersburg, FL, July 21, 2008 – Under terms of a new multi-year agreement, Citadel Federal Credit Union of Thorndale, Penn., will convert 9,000 online bill payment subscribers to PayLynxSM online bill payment from PSCU Financial Services, the nation’s largest credit union service organization (CUSO) announced today. Citadel Federal Credit Union has 110,000 members and $1.1 billion in assets. The credit union’s online bill pay subscribers will begin using the PayLynx platform in August.

“PayLynx will offer our members several new features that deliver a more convenient and secure online bill paying experience. This experience will include the ability to view merchant statements electronically and a delivery guarantee. A great deal of research went into this decision, and we believe that this system is the best in the industry. We know that our members will agree,” said Emanuele Madanat, Director of Retail Delivery, Citadel Federal Credit Union.

“By adding online bill payment to the credit and debit servicing it already purchases from PSCU Financial Services, we are able to offer this credit union and its members outstanding fraud prevention and our award-winning Contact Center services across all three portfolios,” said David J. PayLynx is a turnkey solution that features a single sign-on from the credit union web site and the ability for members to control the payment date and initiate next day payments through a central payment hub. It employs the cooperative’s industry-leading fraud protection program, which marries intelligent fraud detection technology with a trained staff that provides around-the-clock monitoring to stop fraud before an attempt becomes an actual loss. Online bill payment subscribers are also protected against unauthorized transactions and will be reimbursed for any late payment transaction charges if the payment arrives after its scheduled date. In addition, members have access to Contact Center support when they need it most—after business hours and on weekends.
