The campaign allows credit unions that register by June 30, 2009, to benefit from special promotional activities from the nation’s largest credit union service organization. As part of this special campaign, there is no minimum for cards ordered by Dec. 31, 2009. Spending on contactless payments is expected to exceed $800 million by 2011, according to the latest study from ABI Research. Faber, Coe & Gregg recently signed an agreement to deploy integrated contactless and magnetic stripe payment readers at all of its food and retail locations on the East Coast, which include Dunkin Donuts, Seattle’s Best Coffee, Wetzels Pretzels and Pizzeria Uno Express. One contactless terminal supplier has shipped over 450,000 contactless terminals to more than 33 countries.
