PSCU Financial Services Names Industry Innovator Tom Gandre to New Chief Debit Officer Position

St. Petersburg, FL, January 17, 2008 – PSCU Financial ServicesTom Gandre announced that Tom Gandre brings his history of debit innovation to the newly created role of Chief Debit Officer effective immediately. Gandre oversees the cooperative’s debit services unit, which continues to report strong year-over-year growth in transactions, ATM placements and participation by new credit unions. PSCU Financial Services’ debit group currently services over 200 credit unions, 700 ATMs, and processes more than 7 million accounts that generate over 500 million transactions annually.

Prior to joining PSCU Financial Services, Gandre was First Data Corporation’s Senior Vice President of Product Development and Management. In that role Gandre was responsible for new development and ongoing product management for the Debit Services division, which included PIN and Signature debit products, Prepaid products, Fraud and Risk solutions, ATM products and the STAR Network.

Gandre has more than 20 years of experience, including management positions in technology, project management, implementation and customer service. Gandre also worked for A.O. Smith, now called eFunds, where he held positions in technology and account management. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in Management Information Systems.
