WASHINGTON, D.C., March 8, 2009 – Thirty nine members of the U.S. Congress have provided their support for the 2010 Credit Union Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Run® by signing up as Honorary Race Chairs. These legislators represent 22 states and the District of Columbia. The run will be held in the nation’s capital on Sunday, April 11.

St. Petersburg, FL, Jan. 21 – PSCU Financial Services has donated $15,000 to the World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU) Disaster Relief Fund for Haiti. The cooperative has a history of generous giving to a variety of charitable organizations, including disaster relief efforts for recent U.S. hurricanes and overseas tsunamis.
PSCU Financial Services’ employees are also getting involved. The cooperative set up a payroll deduction program that allows employees to give to the Salvation Army’s Haitian Earthquake Victims Relief Fund.
