St. Petersburg, FL, August 22, 2011 – Coast Central Credit Union, a $900 million credit union serving 53,000 members in the northwestern corner of California, partnered with PSCU Financial Services for electronic banking and online bill payment services for its members. Member support will be provided by the CUSO’s renowned 24/7/365 Total Member Care™ Contact Centers. Coast Central Credit Union is joining the CUSO and will convert over 16,000 electronic banking and bill payment subscribers as part of a seven-year contract for electronic banking and online bill payment services.
The credit union’s exhaustive evaluation process spanned over a two year period and included solutions from 23 vendors. “We wanted a partner that could meet our members’ desire for full functionality and ease of use while also addressing our staff’s need for flexibility and continuous technology improvements. PSCU Financial Services offered exceptional performance and reliability along with a small business module on the same platform, which was one of our key requirements,” said Jim Sessa, Sr. Vice-President, Administration/CFO, of Coast Central Credit Union.
PSCU Financial Services continuously expands its ebanking platform to address current and future member needs. Integrating the CUSO’s bill pay services equips the credit union to provide a fully outsourced bill pay product that gives members the ability to pay anyone, anytime. Coast Central members will gain access to advanced features like recurring bill payments, electronic bills and ultimately mobile payments.
"Our electronic banking and online bill pay solutions are complemented by industry-leading fraud protection along with our award-winning 24/7/365 member support," said Michael Kelly, President and CEO, PSCU Financial Services. "Members gain leading-edge functionality such as ACH origination, wire transfers, external transfers and other advanced features while credit unions and their members alike are protected with real-time fraud monitoring technology."
In addition to standard online banking features that include access to account balances, transaction history, transfers, account alerts and stop payments, PSCU Financial Services’ Virtual Branch platforms offer state-of-the-art functionality across all delivery channels including voice, mobile and online banking. The cooperative is the first in the industry to offer real-time fraud monitoring that protects both the credit union and member. Its new risk and fraud analytics track behavior of the user to prevent fraud before it occurs.
