2009 Member Forum
Hotel Reservations:
- All hotel reservations will be requested via the official 2009
 Member Forum Registration Site.
- A room block has been reserved at the JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes located at 4040 Central Florida Parkway, Orlando, FL.
- Group rate is $249.00 plus taxes.
- Hotel will make its best effort to accommodate special requests, such as non-smoking rooms and king beds – all subject to availability.
- Hotel check-in time is at 3:00 p.m. with check-out at 11:00 a.m.
- A credit card number will be required to guarantee your hotel reservation for late arrival only. Your credit card will not be charged for one night’s deposit. Your account information will be secure when entered on our online Hotel Reservation Site. - Tax Exempt Status: In order to be exempt from the Florida State sales tax, credit unions would have to provide a Florida Tax Exempt Form. You can apply for one even if you are coming from another state.
Once the form is completed you can mail (address on Page 1 of documentation) or fax (850-921-1740) the form along with a copy of your credit union charter. Please allow at least 45 days for the certificate of exemption to be issued once you mail or fax to the Florida Department of Revenue.
Please note that tax exempt status also exempts credit unions from the occupancy tax on the sleeping rooms, currently at 6%. The current Florida state sales tax is at 6.5%. In order to receive the tax exemption, each guest must present their own form at check-in and must pay with a credit union credit card or credit union check (No cash, personal credit cards or personal checks). Credit Union Checks can be mailed directly to the hotel, along with the tax exempt form no earlier than 2 weeks prior to arrival. No exemptions can be granted after checkout so all documentation must be available at check-in.

Cancellation/Refund Policy
Individual reservations must be cancelled no later than five (5) days prior to arrival to avoid a billing for the first night’s room and tax charges. Please notify Merry Pateuk at 800-932-7728 if you need to cancel your hotel reservation.

Deadline
Deadline for hotel reservations is Thursday, March 12, 2009. If registrations are received after this date, PSCU Financial Services won’t be able to guarantee that rooms will be available at the JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes. Other hotel arrangements may be necessary.
Parking
Please note that the JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes charges a daily parking fee:
- Self parking - $14.00
- Valet parking - $19.00
