CEO/CFO & Invited Guest Events
Expanding on a tradition of our Member Forum, we have enhanced the special opportunities to meet and discuss issues of significance that attending senior leaders are currently facing in their respective credit unions. By hosting a series of events uniquely for this group, we offer the opportunity for networking at the executive level along with a forum for discussions on subjects specially tailored for senior management.
Senior Leadership Welcome Reception (Sunday early evening)

We welcome our special guests to a reception to kick off our leadership functions. This reception is planned to introduce our special guests and to open communications supporting our goal of extensive networking among PSCU Financial Services executive team and the many executives attending this event. Welcome to Orlando…where the magic starts with meeting new friends and reacquainting old friendships!
Senior Leadership Retreat & Luncheon (Monday)

Dave Serlo will host this luncheon as part of the open discussion forum inherent in our executive program. Dave will share appropriate information about our cooperative and our industry that will be important for every CEO/CFO to hear.

Michael Capellas, Chairman & CEO, First Data Corporation, will share his insights on the current financial conditions facing credit unions and technology plans for First Data which will likely have significant impact on credit union programs. Insights on the impending changes will enhance your ability to understand and direct strategic planning within your credit union.

You will be the honored guests at an early morning breakfast with Dave Serlo and the Board. This popular CEO/CFO event is always a great time of sharing new information, ideas and opinions with the group. You’ll come away informed and inspired.
“A Proven Model For Maximizing Profitability”
(Tuesday afternoon)
(Special CFO financial session/CEOs are invited too)
Responding to the changes in the credit union business and the strain on profitable operations, this special session was requested to focus on how credit unions can manage costs without diluting services. Through a round table discussion, you’ll hear from experts on the subject, share solutions which are in use, and explore areas of potential profitability as we seek to define the best models for operating card programs in this environment. You will leave this session with a number of proven recommendations designed to allow you to “make something happen” when you return to your credit union.

“Afternoon Tea At The Ritz”

We invite our guests to join us for a very special event. You’ll experience a delightful and memorable “Afternoon Tea” experience provided by the The Ladies and Gentlemen of the Ritz-Carlton Lobby Lounge. Your Royal Tea Service will include a Glass of Champagne, your choice of Tea in a Pot, a selection of Four Tea Sandwiches, a freshly Baked Scone, Pastries and Strawberries with Whipped Cream and a hint of Grand Marnier.
You won’t want to miss this one-of-a-kind experience being offered on Monday at 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Everyone signed up for this optional guest activity will meet in The Ritz-Carlton Main Lobby.
The all-inclusive charge is $44.00 per person.

“Eco-Journey On Shingle Creek”
(Optional spouse/guest activity on Monday)
For guests who want to experience a taste of old Florida’s natural preserves, Grand Lakes Outfitters’ interpretive eco-tours offer guided canoe or kayak tours of Shingle Creek. Guests can learn about the history of Shingle Creek and observe the native species such as alligators, bald eagles, osprey and barred owls in their natural habitat.
Traveling back in time on Shingle Creek, guests will enjoy a two-hour Guided Canoe and Kayak Eco-Journey. Water Guides will tell you the story of Shingle Creek and all its inhabitants while paddling through scenic old Florida.
This adventure will be offered on Monday from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and includes the use of all water craft, equipment, and safety gear. Individuals that are signed up for this optional group activity will meet in The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club Pro Shop.
Cost: $80.00 per person (does not include gratuity)

“Cocktails On The Lawn”

Relax, mix and mingle with other member-owners outside on the beautiful Ritz-Carlton DaVinci Lawn. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served during this time for socializing and networking. Several special guests will be on hand to provide for some very interesting surprises. This popular event is truly the perfect way to start a magical evening of fun and enjoyment!

“A Magical Night To Remember”

Come join us for an unforgettable evening of fine dining and outstanding entertainment. You’ll enjoy a fabulous dinner in the Ballroom, while being entertained by a custom performance by Cirque Productions. Colorful performers will entertain you with unbelievable skills between dinner courses. We promise this evening will be one that you won’t soon forget.

“A Cultural Tour Of Winter Park”
(Optional spouse/guest activity on Tuesday)
Guests will begin their day shopping on Downtown Winter Park’s charmed Park Avenue. After spending some enjoyable time checking out all the unique shops, you will then dine on traditional French cuisine at the Chez Vincent. Next you will finish your day with a leisurely walk through The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art. The Morse Museum houses the most comprehensive collection of Louis Comfort Tiffany’s works found anywhere, major holdings of American art pottery and representative collections of late-19th and early-20th century American paintings, graphics and decorative arts.
This special outing will be offered on Tuesday from 9:45 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Individuals signed up for this optional guest activity will meet at the Mediterranean Porte Cochere – Convention Entrance at 9:45 a.m. Bus transportation back to the hotel will depart at 3:15 p.m.
The all-inclusive charge is $82.50 per person. Transportation is included.

“Get Down To The Music”
Universal CityWalk Block Party
(Group activity on Tuesday evening)
Come spend a very unique evening of socializing, dining and entertainment at Universal CityWalk, Orlando’s hottest spot. Our block party will include access to three venues including, Pat O’Brian’s Orlando, Bob Marley – A Tribute to Freedom and the Rising Star. Pat O’Brian’s Orlando is an exact replica of the famed New Orleans watering hole where it’s Mardi Gras 365 days a year. At Bob Marley’s, you will be able to take in the music, heritage and lyrical imagery behind the King of Reggae. The joint is jumpin’ at the Rising Star where you can hear a mix of karaoke, high-energy funk, R&B, soul, rock and more. And, the Rising Star will allow you to live out your pop star karaoke fantasies while being backed up by a full 7-piece band! CityWalk Party Passes will be available if you would like to visit the other venues at CityWalk at the conclusion of our event.

Fun Run/Walk

Our Fun Run/Walk is a great way to kick off the last day of our Member Forum. This is your rare opportunity to enjoy a brisk morning run or casual walk along the famed Ritz-Carlton Golf Club course. Special t-shirts will be given to each participant at the Member Forum registration desk.

PSCU Financial Services’ Annual Golf Benefit
(Optional group activity on Wednesday afternoon)
Our PSCU Annual Golf Benefit will be held on Wednesday afternoon at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club. This amazing course provides golfers with an experience not typically found in Florida. In designing The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club, Orlando, Grande Lakes, two-time British Open Champion Greg Norman and his team put special emphasis on preserving the area's well-balanced ecosystem, thriving with ponds, wetlands, live oaks, and cypress heads. The result is a breathtakingly beautiful course enhanced by rare natural elements. Wide fairways, strategically placed hazards, generous landing areas, and subtly contoured greens provide a challenging but fair test of a golfer's abilities.
Golfers signed up for this optional group activity will meet at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club at 11:45 a.m.
Dress Code:
Gentleman – Collared/Mock short sleeve shirts, Bermuda length shorts or non-denim trousers, and non-metal spikes or any flat rubber soled shoes are appropriate.
Ladies – Collared/Mock/Yoke neck sleeve or sleeveless shirts, Bermuda length shorts/skirts or non-denim trousers, and non-metal spiked or any flat rubber soled shoes are also appropriate.
Cost: $60.00 per golfer (fee includes transportation, pre-tournament lunch buffet, unlimited range balls one hour prior to shotgun start, unlimited refreshments during the tournament and awards banquet). Rental clubs: $75.00 per set.

Individuals signed up for this optional group activity will meet at the Mediterranean Porte Cochere – Convention Entrance at 11:30 a.m. Bus transportation to Sea World will depart at 11:45 a.m. Bus transportation back to the hotel will depart at 6:00 p.m.
