James Bradley, the author of The New York Times #1 Best Seller Flags of our Fathers took attendees through the journey of discovery as he learned about the men – and in particular his father-- that served our country during World War II. The books chronicled the battle of Iwo Jima and the men pictured in one of the most recognized and inspiring photos of all time: five Marines and a Navy corpsman raising the American flag on Mount Suribachi. The author also detailed his struggle to get the book published.

James challenged attendees to understand and remember the example that early generations have set, and to move beyond the impossibilities in their own lives by thinking outside the box.
